Adinkra Symbols

The title of our blog is BOA ME NA ME MMOA WO which means "help me and let me help you."  It is an Adinkra symbol of cooperation and interdependence. Adinkra are visual symbols, originally created by the Akan of Ghana and the Gyaman of Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa that represent concepts or original thoughts.

This symbol and its meaning is a good representation of our interprofessional global health experience.
